Welcome to Allergy & Immunology Associates of Michigan

Please review the information below carefully:

  • All new patient appointments are scheduled by telephone. Please call the office to schedule an appointment. Please have your insurance card handy. Upon scheduling, you will receive a welcome email to invite you register in our patient portal (Patient MMD).
  • Please use the patient's name in the portal if your are a parent registering your child. The portal is the best way to send and receive medical information including laboratory results and school forms.
  • Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment and plan on spending from one to three hours for your initial visit.
  • We ask new patients to stop antihistamines and antacids for a period of time prior to the initial visit if skin testing is likely to occur . Click here to view  the list of medications and the length of time you should refrain from taking them.
  • All other types of medications prescribed, such as those for blood pressure, birth control, diabetes, or asthma should be continued. Inhalers, steroids, nasal sprays, eye drops and creams should be continued as directed by your physician.
  • The fees for a comprehensive evaluation will be between $500 and $900, depending upon the nature of the problem and diagnostic procedures/tests performed. This may be entirely out-of-pocket if you have a high-deductible plan and have not met your deductible. We participate with many insurance carriers, please contact your insurance company to find out if our specialty services are covered. If we do not participate with your insurance carrier or your deductible has not been met, payment will be due at time of service. Feel free to discuss questions about fees or insurance with our billing department prior to your appointment (734) 434-2702.
  • If your HMO requires a written referral for specialty care, it is your responsibility to obtain this from your primary care physician prior to your initial visit to our office.
